We chose a beachside block and we wanted to have a beach themed home. We had a lot of different ideas that didn’t seem to fit. In fact, it seemed like we wouldn’t get all of our ideas onto one plan and it looked we were going to have to compromise on things like a home gym or a theatre room as we simply couldn’t find a plan that fit it all in and left room for a swimming pool.  Some of the things we wanted didn’t fit the shape of our block or our preferred layout.

Our block was not particularly large, we looked around at many builders and couldn’t find any plans that gave us everything we wanted.  We wanted room for a home gym, large scullery and had a specific front elevation that we liked.  We were very keen to get a significant sized back yard for a swimming pool on our small block and didn’t think it would be possible.  After sitting with Peter for what seemed like a very short amount of time, we were very pleasantly surprised to find that he was able to give us everything we wanted and more.  In keeping with the beach house theme we wanted raking ceilings in the main living area flowing through to the alfresco with oodles of natural light and we also wanted to be able to see the swimming pool from all the living areas of the home as we have young children that we wanted to be able to keep an eye on.

Peter was able to maximise the use of our block of land, eliminating any wasted space. He listened to all of our needs, wants and desires, incorporating them into a functional plan that we love.
